Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a mid-senior Business Development Representative to join our Oakland office. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, account research, and discovery conversations to accelerate pipeline across Commercial and Enterprise segments.

You will partner with Account Executives to build strategies and generate qualified opportunities. This full-time, hybrid position combines remote flexibility with in-person collaboration two days per week.

Qualifications

• 9+ months of experience in technology sales.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and multi-threaded account engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable learning and articulating data, analytics, cloud, and AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across target accounts.
• Research accounts and personas to craft personalized outreach.
• Partner with Account Executives to build account strategies and prioritize opportunities.
• Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns using phone, email, LinkedIn, and video.
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and initiatives.
• Engage data, analytics, engineering, IT, RevOps, and executive stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data in Salesforce and collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership.
• Leverage AI tools to improve prospecting efficiency and messaging quality.
• Achieve and exceed activity, meeting generation, and pipeline targets.
• Drive outbound pipeline in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or technology sales.
