Job summary

Fivetran in Oakland is hiring a Business Development Representative to accelerate pipeline across Commercial and Enterprise segments. The role is based in our Oakland office with a hybrid work model, two-three days in the office weekly.

You will partner with Sales Directors to identify target accounts, engage technical buyers, and generate qualified pipeline through multi-channel outreach. You’ll research accounts, craft personalized messaging, and collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; bilingual with bonus points.
• Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts related to data, analytics, cloud, and AI infrastructure.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and multi-threaded account engagement.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve research, messaging, and productivity.
• 9+ months of experience in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or technology sales development.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across target accounts.
• Research accounts, industries, and personas for personalized outreach.
• Partner with Sales Directors to build account strategies and prioritize opportunities.
• Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video.
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and initiatives.
• Engage data, analytics, engineering, IT, RevOps, and executive personas.
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales leadership.
• Leverage AI tools and sales technologies to improve prospecting efficiency.
