Job summary

The American Heart Association is recruiting for a Lead, Clinical Solutions and Licensing to drive the commercialization of AI-enabled health content and digital tools. This senior role partners with product, science, legal, finance, and technology teams to build strategic relationships and manage complex licensing and collaboration agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in healthcare technology, digital health, clinical information services, or related organizations, with increasing responsibility across strategic partnerships, licensing, enterprise sales, or commercialization.
Demonstrated experience negotiating and executing complex enterprise agreements and managing senior‑level partner relationships.
Ability to develop commercial strategies, evaluate business models, and balance near‑term revenue with long‑term strategic value.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives involving legal, finance, product, technology, and clinical or scientific stakeholders.
Working knowledge of AI‑enabled healthcare tools, clinical workflows, and digital content licensing.

Responsibilities

Define and execute an integrated AI licensing and clinical solutions collaboration strategy that expands reach and adoption.
Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic relationships with clinical relevance and commercial potential.
Lead negotiations for complex enterprise agreements including scope, pricing, attribution, reporting, and renewal terms.
Structure relationships creating value beyond licensing fees (distribution, marketing, collaboration).
Partner with legal, science, and stakeholders to protect IP and ensure appropriate AI use boundaries.
Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to advance approvals and partner integration.
Partner with product and technology leaders on scalable content delivery and APIs.
Establish partner reporting and performance measures for revenue and adoption.
Lead executive partner relationships and opportunities for portfolio growth.
Oversee customer success, onboarding, adoption, renewals, and account expansion.
Monitor AI healthcare developments and adapt strategy accordingly.
