Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Lead, Clinical Solutions and Licensing to drive AI-enabled licensing and clinical solutions across clinician-facing platforms, AI companies, and EHR ecosystems. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape strategic partnerships, and negotiate complex enterprise agreements that expand the portfolio while protecting scientific integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in healthcare technology, digital health, or related organizations with increasing responsibility.
Experience negotiating and executing complex enterprise agreements and managing senior-level partner relationships.
Ability to develop commercial strategies, evaluate business models, and balance near-term revenue with long-term strategic value.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving legal, finance, product, technology, and clinical or scientific stakeholders.
Working knowledge of AI-enabled healthcare tools, clinical workflows, and digital content licensing.

Responsibilities

Define and execute an integrated AI licensing and clinical solutions collaboration strategy.
Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic relationships with clinical relevance and commercial potential.
Lead negotiations for complex enterprise agreements and licensing terms.
Structure relationships to create value beyond licensing fees (distribution, marketing, collaboration).
Partner with legal, science, and stakeholders to protect IP and ensure appropriate AI use boundaries.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to advance approvals and partner integration.
Collaborate with product/tech leads on scalable content delivery and AI standards.
Establish partner reporting and performance measures for revenue, reach, and adoption.
Lead ongoing account strategy and executive partner relationships for growth.
Oversee customer success activities for onboarding, renewals, and expansion.
Monitor AI-enabled healthcare developments and adapt strategy accordingly.
