Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a dynamic Lead, Clinical Solutions and Licensing to drive AI-enabled licensing, clinical content delivery, and strategic partnerships from its National Center in Dallas. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years of relevant healthcare tech/ digital health experience and progressive responsibilities in partnerships or licensing.
• Experience negotiating enterprise agreements and managing senior-level partner relationships.
• Ability to create commercial strategies balancing near-term revenue with long-term value.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with legal, finance, product, technology, and clinical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled healthcare tools, clinical workflows, and digital content licensing.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an integrated AI licensing and clinical solutions strategy across clinician platforms, AI companies, and EHR ecosystems.
• Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic relationships with clinical relevance and commercial potential.
• Lead negotiations for complex licensing agreements including scope, pricing, and renewal terms.
• Structure relationships for value beyond fees, including distribution and joint product development.
• Collaborate with legal, science, and stakeholders to protect IP and ensure appropriate AI use and brand integrity.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to advance approvals, support implementation, and ensure partner adoption.
• Partner with product and technology leaders on scalable content delivery and AI standards.
• Establish partner reporting and performance measures for revenue, reach, and engagement.
• Lead account strategy and executive relationships to expand collaborations and licensed uses.
• Oversee customer success activities for onboarding, renewals, and expansion.
• Monitor AI healthcare developments and adapt strategy to evolving tech and customer needs.
