Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Senior Director, Global Payroll Operations based in the United States. You will lead global payroll strategy, governance, and transformation across a complex multinational organization.

This role drives automation, compliance, and employee experience, partnering with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Technology to deliver scalable, compliant payroll operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, business or related field; master's preferred.
• PMP certification required.
• 15+ years global payroll/time management experience.
• 7+ years multi-country leadership and transformation.
• Experience with shared services or outsourcing preferred.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global payroll and time-management strategy and operating model.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across countries with compliance.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Tech, Audit, Procurement on priorities.
• Governance, risk management, and internal controls oversight.
• Lead vendor relationships, SLAs, and contract negotiations.
• Sponsor platform implementations, automation, and transformation.
• Develop and empower a global team and succession planning.
