Job summary

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations Team, handling end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring accuracy across international operations. This role emphasizes analytical thinking, data integrity, and collaboration with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.

You’ll work largely asynchronously and may be located anywhere in the world. The position reports to the Manager, Global Payroll Operations with a focus on KPIs, SLAs, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
• Comfort with asynchronous collaboration.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a true subject matter expert for the country.
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineers.
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including filings, approvals, and payments.
• Ensure data integrity and quality.
• Create payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Implement and improve payroll processes.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists.
• Back up regional managers during absences.
