PayTech seeks a Senior Payroll Consultant to guide organizations through payroll transformation and process optimization. This remote role involves leading full-cycle payroll in the U.S., delivering practical solutions, and partnering with clients across industries to achieve measurable outcomes.

You will bring 7+ years of payroll experience, CPP or FPC certification, and expertise with Dayforce or UKG, plus strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience and a strong grasp of best practices.
• Proven ability to manage staff, teams, or complex projects.
• Experience with payroll systems (Dayforce and/or UKG) and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
• Experience in client relationships and navigating ambiguity in consulting engagements.
• Payroll tax and HR knowledge are assets.
• Certification: CPP or FPC or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle U.S. payroll administration and processing with accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients, improving operational effectiveness and mitigating risk.
• Conduct operational assessments and discovery sessions to identify process improvements.
• Design and implement solutions to optimize payroll processes, controls, and service delivery.
• Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders and leadership teams.
