BECU is seeking a Director of Technology to lead a broad portfolio of financial-services technology, aligning technology strategy with member outcomes. You will guide engineering teams across payments, wealth management, lending, and more, driving modernization and high-value initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on delivery, and collaboration with product, operations, risk, and legal teams, with remote/work-from-office flexibility for eligible candidates.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of people leadership experience in technology teams.
• 8+ years of information technology experience with design expertise.

Aufgaben

• Lead Technology Strategy & Delivery: translate business priorities into technology roadmaps and cost/benefit analyses.
• Own a high-impact portfolio spanning financial health, payments, wealth management, and lending.
• Anticipate risks and dependencies across Product, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Architecture to keep delivery on track.
• Drive modernization via cloud, APIs, SaaS, and modern engineering practices.
• Build and develop a high-performance technology team with coaching and succession planning.
• Oversee enterprise governance, planning, and portfolio financials to ensure strategic alignment.
