BECU is seeking a Director of Technology to lead a broad portfolio across payments, wealth management, and lending. You will align technology strategy with business goals, drive modernization through cloud and APIs, and oversee cross-functional teams to deliver critical platforms.

You will foster a culture of growth, manage governance and budgeting, and partner with Product, Operations, Risk, and Legal to ensure outcomes that benefit members and the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Advance degree preferred.
• 7 years of experience leading technology teams.
• 8 years of information technology experience with demonstrated expertise in application design.

Responsabilités

• Develop technology strategy and roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Lead delivery across financial health, payments, wealth management, and lending initiatives.
• Identify dependencies and blockers across Product, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Architecture.
• Modernize platforms through cloud, APIs, SaaS, automation, and improved architecture.
• Build and develop high-performance engineering teams and promote Agile practices.
