Job summary

ADUSA Corporate Support, part of Ahold Delhaize USA, seeks a Project Manager I to lead store development projects from pre-construction through construction and warranty close-out. The role covers new stores, expansions and remodels, coordinating with Purchasing, Real Estate, Refrigeration, and Operations to hit milestones.

The position requires 80% travel (Mon–Thu) with a remote office day on Friday, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to travel weekly.
• Strong leadership and accountability across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding for GCs, CMs, subcontractors and suppliers for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Prepare and manage bid documents, RFQ packages and related schedules.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoices for Food Lion work.
• Manage Construction Change Authorization/Change Order processes and ensure timely payments.
• Lead weekly project construction and operations meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversee completion with punch lists, sign-offs and project closeout.
