Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I for store development across several states. You will oversee new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating with GC's, CM's, vendors and internal teams to meet milestones and budgets.

The role requires 80% travel with a remote office day on Fridays and authorization to work in the United States. Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or equivalent is preferred, with 5–7 years of construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; CM/Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of construction industry experience.
• Ability to lead projects through multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC's/CM's and subs for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Compile bid documents and RFQ packages to minimize costs and changes.
• Prepare contracts, PO's, processing and payment of requisitions and invoices.
• Manage Change Authorization/Change Order process to ensure valid scope and timely payments.
• Oversee bid/contract/requisition approvals for projects.
• Review ARCH/MEP redlines for conformity to standards and codes.
• Provide value engineering feedback and implement cost-saving ideas.
• Plan and monitor schedules, milestones, and turnover requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations and others on timelines and costs.
• Direct weekly project meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure safety and adherence to plans and quality standards.
