Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global food retailer, is seeking a Project Manager I for Store Development to lead new store construction, expansions and remodels from pre-construction through close-out; manage schedules, budgets, bidding, and coordination with GC/CM, vendors and internal teams.

Applicants may reside in NC, SC, or VA; position requires 80% travel (Mon-Thu) with a remote office day on Friday; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CM or Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of construction industry experience.
• Ability to travel weekly.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC/CM and subcontractors for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and handle invoices and requisitions.
• Oversee construction schedules, milestones, and budget reports; ensure quality and safety standards.
