Job summary

Provident Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and lead a team to achieve branch goals. You will supervise workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and expand customer relationships through teamwork with partners.

You will coach staff, drive exceptional customer service, and help manage scheduling, training, and performance. Travel between sites may be required, with evenings and weekend events as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to discuss, recommend and close bank products based on customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day team leadership to ensure personalized service and compliance.
• Lead branch operations including teller, platform, and customer escalations.
• Coach staff to foster a needs-based sales environment and grow relationships.
• Monitor branch activities to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Branch Manager with staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
