A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Operation Manager to oversee lift and escalator installation and modernization projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, particularly in the lift and escalator industry. You will be responsible for developing project plans, monitoring budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. This role demands excellent teamwork abilities and proficiency in project management applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in lift and escalator installations.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Possession of Project Management Professional certification is a plus.

- Manage lift and escalator installation and modernization projects.
- Develop project plans including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Monitor project expenses to adhere to the approved budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety.

Formation
As a Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing lift and escalator installation and modernization projects from inception to completion.
- Develop new business account for lift and escalator.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for lift and escalator quotations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline and resource allocation.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability and potential risks.
- Prepare accurate cost estimations for all the awarded projects.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
- Implement cost‑saving measures without compromising on project quality and safety.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance productivity and project efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met.
- Identity potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.
- Address any unforeseen issues that arise during the project promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and project records.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Management or designated personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with expertise in lift and escalator installations with minimum of 8 years.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling and resource management.
- In-depth knowledge of lift and escalator systems, components and industry standards.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Proficient in project management and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Possession of a personal vehicle and Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
