Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant to prepare monthly statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate processing of financial documents. The ideal candidate will have at least an 'O' level or LCCI in accounting, be proficient in MS Office, and be able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients. This role involves handling petty cash, verifying calculations, and maintaining filing systems in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Statement of Accounts.
  • Responsible for full set of accounts, AR & AP.
  • Process all invoices and payment requests.
  • Verify calculations and input codes accurately.
  • Maintain and reconcile Direct Debit mandates.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and weekly reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

  • To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
  • Verify calculations and input codes into the Accounts system in an accurate manner.
  • To maintain and reconcile the Direct Debit mandates.
  • To deal with daily transactions for the petty cash and ensure that reconciliations are completed on a weekly basis.
  • To ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
