Surfscan-ADE is looking to hire an energetic, self-driven individual to be part of a team of remote systems engineers who will work closely with service teams and customers to identify and implement product improvements which will lead to long-term product adoption and customer success. These activities will include the development and release of new options, features or other improvements that provide more value to our customers. Integral to this role is an understanding of the customers use-case and successfully working in conjunction with other groups to define the requirements. Must have the ability to follow through and release / support these product enhancements effectively. Trains service and manufacturing employees. Required to travel to customer sites to efficiently and effectively resolve technical issues (Fly and Fix) during and after product release.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Preferably in the field of Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Material Science)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Preferred (not mandatory) work experiences in semiconductor processing or equipment industry
Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Must be self-driven, and a strong team player.
Good hands-on ability with demonstrated success on hardware related projects
Up to 50% of world-wide travelling would be required
