About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Yoong Shen Electrical Pte Ltd. This full-time position, based in Ang Mo Kio Town Centre, is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations

• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts

• Prepare and submit GST filings accurately and on time

• Prepare balance sheets and audit schedules for external audit purposes

• Liaise with external auditors, internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers

• Preparation and submission of corporate tax timely and accurately

• Preparation of payroll listing, CPF contributions submission, and other payroll-related statutory requirements

• Submission of employment income tax (auto inclusion scheme)

• Ensure compliance with all local tax, accounting, and labour laws

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements

• Proficient in Million accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

• Proactive, responsible, and committed to continuous improvement
