Job description

Carta connects founders, investors, and limited partners through world-class software, purpose-built for everyone in venture capital, private equity and private credit.

Carta’s fund administration platform supports nearly 7,000 funds and SPVs, representing $150B in assets under administration in venture capital and private equity. Trusted by more than 40,000 companies, Carta also helps private businesses in over 160 countries manage their cap tables, valuations, taxes, equity programs, compensation, and more.

Together, Carta is creating the end-to-end ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions don’t work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Carta’s software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - it’s a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital.

Carta is looking for a SDR Manager to lead our SDR team across APAC and MENA.

Since opening our Singapore office in 2021, we’ve built a lean, high-performing team focused on supporting the startup and venture ecosystem in the region. As the SDR Manager, you’ll work closely with the GTM lead to drive territory strategy, optimize outbound efforts, support marketing initiatives, and maximize the impact of events.

You’ll be responsible for coaching, developing, and scaling a team of SDRs—equipping them with deep product knowledge, strong sales skills, and a solid understanding of private market finance. At Carta, we invest heavily in our people and prioritize internal growth. This role is key to shaping the next generation of top-performing sales talent.

Problems You’ll Solve:
  • Coach and develop SDR talent, supporting their growth and career progression
  • Lead business development efforts across APAC and MENA, tailoring strategies to the unique needs of each region
  • Devise and implement comprehensive pipeline generation strategies, incorporating regional nuances
  • Drive high performance by instilling a growth mindset and accountability within the team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other managers across Carta
  • Strengthen and deepen Carta’s relationships within its partnership ecosystem
The Impact You’ll Have:

As part of Carta’s APAC & MENA team, you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of these strategic regions. With offices opening in Singapore (2021), Sydney (2024), and Abu Dhabi (2025), our regional expansion depends on sustained momentum in business development and partnerships.

As SDR Manager, you’ll oversee outbound, inbound, and partner-led business development efforts—driving impact at the very core of Carta’s go-to-market success.

About You:
  • Proven experience in a sales environment with monthly KPIs
  • Previously successful as an SDR/BDR, with experience managing or mentoring others
  • Passionate about startups, venture capital, and the private markets ecosystem
  • Hands-on and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
  • Understand the importance of CRM hygiene; Salesforce (SFDC) experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with cross functional partners
  • Motivated by developing and advancing the careers of your team members

Disclosures:

  • We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a positive interview experience for every candidate. If accommodations due to a disability or medical condition are needed, please connect with the talent partner via email.
  • Please note that all official communications from us will come from an @carta.com or @carta-external.com domain. Report any contact from unapproved domains to security@carta.com.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
