Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with above 5 years working experience. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in automated testing for web applications using tools like Selenium or Playwright. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT/web applications by designing and implementing automated tests that improve efficiency and maintain high standards of software quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium, Playwright, or other relevant automation tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement test cases, scenarios, and strategies for new features and enhancements.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing for web applications.
- Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and libraries.
- Execute automated tests and identify, report, and track defects through to resolution.
- Monitor and maintain the test environments and ensure test data is properly set up.
- Continuously analyze and improve existing test automation processes and infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, identify potential improvements, and help maintain best practices within the QA process.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate issues clearly and effectively to developers and product owners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in test automation best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (X+ years) in automated testing of web applications.
- Strong experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar web automation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript for writing automated test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated test execution.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a keen eye for identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of Docker or containerization for test environment setup.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
