WTT VIDEO PRODUCER/SENIOR VIDEO PRODUCER
The Video Producer will attend WTT events worldwide to capture high-quality video content and create engaging stories for broadcast, social media, and digital platforms. This role requires working across different time zones and managing tight deadlines, often outside of regular business hours.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in filming, possess a creative mindset, be technically skilled, organised, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with different departments to develop and realise new and exciting concepts.
While this role is advertised as Video Producer, we are open to considering qualified candidates for a Senior Video Producer position based on experience and expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative concepts and scripts for video content by identifying strong story angles
- Collaborate closely with graphics, marketing, social media and events teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with WTT’s brand vision from pre-to post-production
- High proficiency in filming a range of content, including live table tennis matches, post-match interviews, press conferences, behind-the-scenes footage and studio shoots
- Direct and produce your own shoots, managing camera work, lighting and audio, ensuring high production quality across all formats
- Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot on-site video production equipment to ensure everything is set up and functioning smoothly, even in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
- Provide creative direction for both on-site and remote shoots, helping teams meet deadlines and deliverables
- Edit videos and promos for WTT’s social media platforms, broadcast and event presentation with a high level of polish and creativity
- Conduct full post-production including video editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and final delivery of assets
- Manage backups, ensuring footage is securely stored, organized, and accessible at all times
- Mentor and guide junior team members, offering feedback and support to help grow the department’s capabilities
- Travel internationally to attend WTT events, which may involve irregular working hours and fast turnaround times
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Film and Multimedia or its equivalent from a recognised educational institution with 3-7 years of relevant experience and / or a good portfolio of work to showcase
- Proficient handling of camera gear (FX3, FS5, a7sIII equivalent)
- Proficient knowledge of lighting & audio gear and associated technical workflows
- Proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro & After Effects)
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proactive and keen to learn
- Possess a flair for creative visual storytelling with a good understanding of video pacing and music selection
- Able to work under pressure and tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Understanding of the mechanics in 2D animation production (After Effects) and Colour Grading
- Passion for sport and business
- Ability to work in multiple languages, with preference for South East Asian Languages
