Job summary

A reputable engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a WSHE Officer to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental standards. This role involves implementing SHE systems, managing incidents, and conducting safety training. Ideal candidates will have an engineering background, a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health, and experience in railway projects. Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions are essential. The position offers a challenging work environment with significant responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
  • WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or higher strongly preferred.
  • Post-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM highly desired.
  • Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA highly desired.
  • Minimum about 1-year work experience in railway projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) system.
  • Attend SHE coordination meetings and plan work sequences.
  • Handle near-miss, accident, and incident reporting.
  • Prepare and manage the Project Safety, Health, and Environment System (SHES).
  • Conduct safety inspections and establish in-house rules.
