A construction safety management firm in Singapore is seeking a WSHO responsible for ensuring compliance with WSH regulations, conducting safety inspections, and delivering safety training. The ideal candidate has a valid safety training certificate and at least 3 years of relevant experience in building and engineering construction. This role is crucial for maintaining safety standards at construction sites.
Valid registration with relevant Safety Training Certificates or equivalent qualification approved by MOM
Minimum 3 years of practical experience relevant to the work to be performed by the WSHO in building construction and works of engineering construction.
Compliance & Systems: Establish & maintain WSH management systems, ensure compliance with WSH Act & MOM regulations, manage risk assessments, and oversee Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and enforcement actions to identify hazards and non-compliance.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions.
Training & Culture: Develop & deliver safety training (inductions, toolbox meetings), plan emergency drills, and foster a proactive safety culture.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain WSH records, prepare monthly/weekly safety reports, and manage PPE records.
Coordination: Liaise with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and safety committees.
