Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a professional to assist in implementing and managing safety protocols under the Integrated Management System for QEHS. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, hold a WSQ Certificate or equivalent, and be a registered WSHO with MOM. Responsibilities include conducting audits, promoting EHS awareness, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in safety management.
  • Registered WSHO with MOM is mandatory.
  • ECO Cert holders will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the Integrated Management System for QEHS.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits on site.
  • Recommend improvements to the EHS Management System.

Job Description
  • Assist in the implementation of the Integrated Management System for QEHS.
  • Assist the PM in identifying and assessing any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes.
  • Recommend to the PM reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or may be affected by the occupier's undertaking in the workplace.
  • Assist the management in organizing and promoting EHS activities and campaigns to raise the EHS awareness of all site personnel.
  • Review the EHS Management System and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that all statutory regulations, code of practice, and company's EHS rules & regulations are implemented and complied with at the project site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits on site.
  • Conduct monthly safety committee meetings.
  • Performing ad-hoc job duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
  • WSQ Certificates / Diploma / Degree in Workplace Safety and Health or its equivalent.
  • Must be a registered WSHO with MOM.
  • Candidates with ECO Cert will be preferred.
  • Min. 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Able to manage safety aspect well and work alongside project team to meet timelines.
