Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Safety Officer to conduct safety inspections and provide consultation to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry. Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus. This role involves organizing safety training and conducting job hazard analyses to maintain safe working conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
• Registered WSHO and ECO preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.

• Perform construction site safety inspections.
• Provide advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Conducting routine systematic safety audit / inspections; Organize training, talk, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site so as to establish a safe and healthy working conditions;
• Attend the site safety audit conducted by Authority and Client’s representative- HDB
• Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.

Requirements

• Candidates must process at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
