Job summary

A leading construction services company based in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance. The ideal candidate will implement and monitor safety systems, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to health and safety policies. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Building Construction and certification in WSH is required. This role involves significant responsibilities, including accident documentation and risk assessments.

Qualifications

  • Possess relevant safety certificates (Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course, Specialist Diploma in WSH).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH working experience in Building Construction.
  • Familiar with ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
  • Complete and review risk assessments for equipment and operations.
  • Document and investigate accidents, ensuring recommendations are implemented.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems at work sites.
  • Conducts regular Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) inspections and follow-up actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are strictly followed, regularly reviewed for relevance, updated as required, and effectively communicated to all employees.
  • Ensure the Company fulfills its statutory obligations in all areas of workplace health, safety, and welfare, including mandatory training and reporting requirements.
  • Completes and reviews risk assessments for work equipment and operations on a regular basis.
  • Documents and investigates accidents, ensuring implementation of recommended safety improvements.
  • Coordinate the development of Health & Safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
  • Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are implemented and maintained at all times.
Job Requirements
  • Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course, Specialist Diploma in WSH or equivalent)
