Job summary

A safety services company in Singapore is seeking a Registered Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct site inspections. The role requires at least 5 years of experience as a Client Representative, managing multiple contractors, and guiding their safety teams. The candidate will support WSH training and audits, ensuring effectiveness and adherence to legal standards. This is a full-time position with a contract period extending for three years.

Qualifications

  • Must be Registered Safety Officer.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in handling projects as Client Representative.
  • Able to handle multiple contractors and guide their WSH Team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with WSH Act and maintain WSH audit procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed audit reports.
  • Review or conduct investigations for incidents and ensure proper reporting.
  • Ensure contractors’ documents are effective and legally compliant.
  • Support delivery of WSH training and liaise with various stakeholders.

  • 02 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2028 (3 Years)

Deployment

  • Mon to Sat: 8 am to 5.30 pm

Scope of Works

  1. Ensure full compliance with WSH Act, relevant regulations, client and contractor in-house requirements; maintain WSH audit procedures according to regulatory and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits; prepare detailed audit reports; review and update findings; evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Review or conduct investigations for incidents and near misses; ensure proper reporting and follow-up actions are implemented.
  4. Review and communicate RA and SWP; ensure contractors’ documents are effective, legally compliant, and site-specific; observe toolbox talks and safety meetings for effectiveness.
  5. Conduct documentation reviews; support the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, documentation controls, and safety campaigns.
  6. Support delivery of WSH training; liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (MOM, SCDF); carry out any additional WSH duties assigned by the client.

Requirements
