Role Purpose & Impact

As our SGO Workplace Experience Leader (WEL), you'll be the strategic architect of our physical workplace environment, ensuring every aspect of our facilities enhances productivity, wellbeing, and organizational culture. This isn't just facilities management—it's workplace experience curation. You'll directly impact employee satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business continuity while positioning our organization as an employer of choice through exceptional facility stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management (45%)
  • Drive operational excellence across all facility functions while ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • Oversee comprehensive facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems, and building maintenance programs.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules that maximize equipment lifespan while minimizing business disruption.
  • Manage space planning, office layouts, and workspace optimization to support evolving business needs and hybrid work models.
  • Coordinate renovation projects, ensuring quality delivery within budget and timeline parameters.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards while promoting workplace wellness initiatives.
  • Implement sustainable practices and energy management programs that align with corporate environmental goals.
Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building (35%)
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships that enhance service delivery and organizational alignment.
  • Serve as primary liaison with C‑suite executives, department heads, cross‑functional teams and executive assistants (EAs) to understand and anticipate facility needs.
  • Implement client programs.
  • Cultivate strong vendor relationships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and cost optimization.
  • Lead regular facility committees and stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and communicate operational updates.
  • Partner with HR and IT teams to create integrated workplace solutions that support employee experience.
  • Manage tenant relations in multi‑tenant environments, ensuring positive community relationships.
  • Develop communication strategies that keep employees informed about facility improvements, maintenance schedules, and workplace changes.
Strategic Planning & Process Improvement (20%)
  • Develop long‑term facility master plans that align with business growth projections and organizational objectives.
  • Lead budget planning and cost management initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Implement workplace technology solutions including space management systems, digital room booking platforms, and IoT building management systems.
  • Analyze facility utilization data to optimize space allocation and support data‑driven real‑estate decisions.
  • Establish key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms that demonstrate facilities’ contribution to business success.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years progressive facilities management experience with 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Professional certification (FMP, CFM, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record managing large‑scale facility operations (50,000+ sq ft or multi‑site portfolios).
  • Demonstrated experience with HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels.
