Job summary

Key Responsibilities
Alcohol Service (Wine & Beer)
  • Greet customers and take drink orders.
  • Serve wine, draught beer, bottled beer, and other alcoholic beverages.
  • Properly open, pour, and present wine.
  • Pour beer using proper techniques to maintain quality.
  • Ensure clean and ready glassware and tools.
Customer Interaction
  • Recommend drinks based on customer preference.
  • Engage guests in a friendly, respectful manner.
  • Handle basic customer feedback or issues immediately and politely.
  • Ensure responsible serving of alcohol.
Pub Operations Support
  • Assist bartenders and servers when needed.
  • Clear and reset tables quickly during busy hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the service area, counters, and drink stations.
  • Assist with serving simple non-alcoholic drinks.
Stock & Inventory
  • Monitor wine and beer stock levels and update supervisor when low.
  • Restock chilled beverages throughout the shift.
  • Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory tasks.
3. Requirements
  • Experience in F&B, pub, or bar environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and alcohol serving (training provided).
  • Friendly personality with strong communication skills.
  • Able to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long hours and handle fast-paced service.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
