About the role

Singapore Jinggong Steel Structure Pte.Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in the Tuas Bay West Region of Singapore. As a Welder in our construction division, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality steel structures to support our projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

1. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate steel components accurately

2. Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join steel components

3. Ensure all welds meet industry standards and safety regulations

4. Collaborate with the construction team to assemble and install steel structures on-site

5. Maintain welding equipment and work area to ensure optimal performance and safety

6. Participate in regular training and upskilling programmes to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder in the construction industry

2. Welders are to be of minimum 3G level.

3. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

4. Excellent welding skills, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

5. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
