Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting waste materials and recyclables from various locations.
• Guide the driver during the vehicle collection process.
• Assist with the disposal of waste to authorized facilities.
• Reinstate the work area after collection operations.
• Handle equipment and receptacles properly.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned daily.
• Conduct collection safely per company SOP.
• Comply with workplace safety and health requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection of waste materials / recyclables from municipal and industrial & commercial premises


• Guide the driver during the collection process, such as during vehicle reversing


• Assist in the disposal of waste/recyclables to material recovery facility, C&D plant or any other authorized disposal facilities


• Reinstate the work area (spillage – refuse and oil, overflowing refuse, etc.)


• Proper handling of equipment and receptacles


• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and washed daily


• Ensure collection is conducted in a safe manner in accordance with the company SOP


• Comply with workplace safety and health requirements (e.g., donning proper PPE, safety boots etc.)

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Physically fit


• Willing to work in outdoor environment


• Location: Tuas Depot


• 6 days work week, with one rest day


• Working hours: 7 am to 3.20pm, with overtime
