Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the handling and disposition of stocked goods. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, managing inventory, operating forklifts, and leading daily operations meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, be able to perform cyclic inventory checks, and support logistics activities. This role requires effective communication and the ability to operate various equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the team's handling of stocked goods.
• Examine product quality and inform purchasing of deviations.
• Monitor materials' location for correct delivery.
• Perform cyclic inventory management using ABC classification.
• Operate forklift for medium and small objects.
• Complete work orders and inventory transactions.
• Lead daily meetings and delegate tasks.
• Arrange delivery and collection of subcontract items.
• Order wooden pallets and crates.
• Support weld line pipe activities as needed.
• Perform work at height in the gantry area.

Job description

Plan, organize and guide the team on the disposition of stocked goods, facilitating their identification, location and handling, by type and by product.

Examine the quality of the products purchased, informing the purchasing department of any deviation from the established specifications.

Monitor the location of the materials that leave the company, through specific software, aiming at definitive delivery at the correct destination.

Perform cyclic inventory management by defining material counting criteria based on the ABC classification.

Operate forklift machine to transport objects and equipment of medium and small complexity.

Completing work orders, issuing and returning material, Receiving and other miscellaneous inventory transactions.

Daily Toolbox Meeting and Job delegation to Warehouseman & Warehouse Helpers.

Arrangement of delivery and collection of subcontract items.

Ordering of Wooden pallets and crates.

Support the weld line pipe activities in the absence of the Warehouseman. (To fork the welded pipes to the Yard and operates the Gantry Crane)

To perform Work at Height activities in the Gantry Area.
