Job Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Monitor workflow and ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Conduct daily warehouse inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of storage areas.
Inventory & Documentation Control
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including goods receipt, stock movement, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure inventory levels are well managed, perform regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, documentation, and filing systems for audit and tracking purposes.
Safety, Compliance & Coordination
- Enforce compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Measure, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to the Warehouse Manager on a daily basis.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to coordinate inventory planning and order management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support warehouse and business operations.
People Management
- Build a cohesive and motivated warehouse team by fostering teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture.
- Plan, schedule, and adjust manpower levels to meet daily operational needs effectively.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to operational standards.
- Supervise day-to-day team performance and provide guidance to ensure productivity and service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
