Job summary

A leading global manufacturing firm based in Singapore is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy and oversee warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will supervise the Warehouse Support team, ensure safety compliance, and monitor inventory levels. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a certificate or diploma in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Certified with 6-Sigma Yellow Belt.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to be based in Singapore to maintain inventory accuracy and assist in the smooth execution of day‑to‑day warehouse activities in compliance with all safety regulations.

Team Leadership
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Warehouse Support team, including training, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide coaching for team development.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by overseeing and arranging regular stock checks and daily cycle counts.
  • Ensure accurate records between system and physical stock to address any discrepancies promptly.
Order Fulfillment
  • Coordinate the picking, packing and shipment of orders to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation of export shipments and raw material support production.
Safety Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard‑free and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Stay informed about workplace safety regulations and ensure operation teams follow safety procedures.
Equipment & Facilities
  • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate all servicing and repairing tasks to avoid impact on warehouse activities.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
Document & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse activities.
  • Generate regular reports on near‑miss incidents, corrective action preventive action (CAPA) and operational metrics.
Problem Solving & Communication
  • Address any operational challenges, such as shipment delays, inventory shortages and order discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse operation team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and order fulfilment.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance warehouse operations, streamline workflows and achieve cost savings.
Backup for Warehouse Specialist
  • Assist in receiving MRO and spare parts.
  • Assist in receiving incoming raw materials.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum O level, Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed, and responsibilities may evolve over time based on business needs.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field.
Soft Skills
  • Certified with 6‑Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement with proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Basics and Leader Standard Work (LSW).
Specific Knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and inventory.
  • Able to perform work in the presence of stress.
Others
  • Forklift driving license.
  • Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good report writing skills.
