Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to assist in daily operational activities. The candidate will manage inventory accuracy, conduct reports, and ensure safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities also include training new staff and liaising with customers. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a computerized warehouse environment is required. This role offers transportation from Tuas MRT station.

Responsibilities

• To assist the warehouse manager in the day to day operational activities
• Able to plan & organize effectively on the daily requirements of the warehouse operations
• Able to investigate & analyse the cause of mistakes and provide with solutions when there is incident and provide reports and counselling
• Ensure that all Safe Work Procedures are adhered at all times
• To ensure regular inspections are carried out on all material handling equipment in the warehouse
• All operational areas and documentations are maintained as per SOP
• Responsible for management of quality issues and resolutions as per standard operating procedures or defined standards
• Responsible for monthly cycle count, annual stock take and overall inventory accuracy
• Responsible in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by ensuring all workstations are kept neat by complying with safety rules, procedures and regulations
• Participates and contributes to team effort by accomplishing set KPIs and company goals
• Communicating with warehouse operational team on issues or concerns pertaining operational matters or duties
• Ensure safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods and ensure all key performance indicators are achieved
• Identify and implement in all areas of improvements to maximize productivity
• To ensure operations are performed smoothly through computerized administration system

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Warehousing / Picking, Packing & Inventory control especially in a computerised warehouse environment
• Responsible to generate daily, weekly and monthly reports and statistics for operational matters, productivity and transactional data
• Responsible to ensure all billing and costing is completed within the specified datelines
• Be the team lead for all SAP EWM related issues, problem solving, resolution and improvements
• Conduct In-House-Training for new staff on warehouse process and other warehouse related activities
• Responsible for the management, monitoring and replenishment of packing materials and ensure availability at all times
• Liase with both internal and external customers on all aspects of operational requirements within the warehouse
• Performs and delegates other duties as and when assigned
• Transportation will be provided at Tuas MRT station
