Job Summary
This role involves leading warehouse operations at Regent Logistics to align with company policies and strategic goals. You will ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs while managing budgets and maintaining safety and legal standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns to ensure efficient and accurate processing
- Oversee e-commerce fulfillment operations to deliver accuracy, speed, and adherence to service level agreements
- Manage onboarding and setup of new warehouse clients and fulfillment businesses to enable seamless operational integration
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout, manpower allocation, workflows, and inventory processes to maximize operational efficiency
- Ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations through effective capacity planning and contingency management
- Monitor inventory accuracy, stock movements, and perform reconciliation to maintain data integrity
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, safety standards, compliance requirements, and 5S methodologies
- Organize and manage team members to ensure work completion aligned with company standards and performance expectations
- Lead investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
- Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, including productivity, overtime management, and safety compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact for warehousing matters with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate communication and collaboration
- Lead monthly business reviews with clients and drive corrective and preventive action plans
- Recommend, develop, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Analyze and update operational reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Ensure workplace safety and security within the warehouse environment
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and lead team members to maintain manpower continuity and develop talent
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to support business objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing warehouse operations of over 50,000 sqft or 5,000 pallets equivalent, transport distribution, or related operational logistics background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Expert knowledge of supply chain fulfillment, land distribution, and warehousing operations
- Familiarity with Singapore traffic rules and conditions
