A staffing company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment. Duties include conducting inspections, performing repairs, managing maintenance records, and coordinating with vendors for outsourced repairs. Ideal candidates hold a Nitec or Diploma in relevant fields and possess good problem-solving skills. A valid electrician license and experience in industrial equipment maintenance would be advantageous.
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00pm , Monday to Friday

Equipment Maintenance & Servicing
Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance and servicing of all warehouse equipment to ensure safe and stable operation, including but not limited to forklifts, lift trucks, lifting platforms, conveyors, racking systems and related facilities.
Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose equipment faults and carry out timely repairs and parts replacement to minimise downtime and ensure continuity of warehouse operations.
Safety Inspection
Conduct routine checks on warehouse facilities such as fire-fighting equipment, lighting, ventilation and power systems to ensure compliance with safety standards, and promptly address any safety hazards.
Maintenance Records
Accurately record maintenance and repair activities, including date, fault description, work performed and parts used, and maintain a complete maintenance log for reference and audit.
Spare Parts & Tools Management
Manage and maintain the inventory of spare parts, tools and materials required for maintenance work; monitor stock levels, perform regular stock-take and support replenishment when needed.
Vendor / Outsourced Repair Coordination
When external maintenance services are required, liaise and coordinate with service vendors, monitor repair quality and progress, and ensure work meets safety and performance requirements.
Cost Control
Apply cost-effective repair methods and use parts and materials responsibly to support maintenance budget control and avoid wastage.
Continuous Improvement
Propose improvement ideas for equipment reliability, safety and maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all company policies, safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out practices to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out safely.
Other Duties
Undertake any other maintenance or operational tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related disciplines (or equivalent technical training).
Prior experience in maintenance of warehouse or industrial equipment is preferred.
Valid Singapore electrician licence is an advantage.
Familiar with the structure, principles and basic repair methods of common warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, conveyors, lift platforms, racking systems).
Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Able to use common tools and test instruments such as multimeters, wrenches and welding equipment safely and correctly.
Able to communicate in English and/or Chinese to read manuals, safety instructions and work orders.
Good problem-solving skills, strong sense of responsibility, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
