Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Delivery Driver responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods, conducting vehicle inspections, and coordinating with warehouses. Candidates must have a valid Class 3 driving license and be able to commit to physical tasks and overtime. This position offers a basic salary of SG $3000 along with AWS and allowances.

Qualifications

• MUST have valid Class 3 driving license with clean records.
• Able to handle physical work and manual carton lifting up to 15kg.
• Able to commit OT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to clients according to schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Handle customer inquiries related to deliveries professionally.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes.
• Inform dispatch of any delays or issues.
• Verify delivery orders upon completion.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain all logistics equipment in good working order.

Job description

Basic information:

• Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm
• Basic UP $3000
• AWS and allowances provided
• Tuas (Company transport provided at Boon Lay MRT)

Job Scope:

• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to clients or assigned locations according to schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Handle customer inquiries related to deliveries in a professional manner when required.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes, considering traffic and road conditions.
• Inform dispatch of any delays, incidents, or issues during transit.
• Verify delivery orders upon completion to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Maintain all logistics and material-handling equipment in good working order.
