Job description
Context & Environment
  • Demanding environment with round the clock standby by staff to meet zero missed delivery of logistics demand.
  • Critical cross functional support to ensure timely delivery of orders to meet customers fulfilment and stock transfer.

Activities
Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all HSE rules and regulations in daily operation and report to supervisors and HSE for any safety incident, near miss and deviation.
  • Operate the forklifts and reach truck for warehouse daily operations activities.
  • Check and record the forklifts and reach truck conditions on the equipment checklist, top up batter water on time.
  • Receive of finished products from production and for storing in the warehouse for direct export and transfer to 3PL warehouse.
  • Conduct visual inspection to ensure proper markings and good physical condition of the products and materials stored.
  • Identify and segregate any non-conforming products found and report accordingly.
  • Load of goods into containers for export or SOC, transport to local deliveries, receive of goods from local suppliers and un-stuffing of goods from containers from overseas supplier.
  • Keep all storage areas neat and clean at all times.
  • Ensure all incoming products and materials received are approved to specifications before receipt.
  • Endure all outgoing products and materials are correct in identification, quantity and in good physical condition before release.
  • Ensure finished goods are dispatch accordance to FIFO practice at all times.
  • Activate and monitor warehouse space utilization for goods transfer to 3PL warehouse for storage.
  • Report and discuss with supervisor if any quality issue of products.
  • Assist to resolve shipping errors and service problems for Tuas plant
  • Assist in arrange and loading of waste materials, used cartons disposal and used empty drums during supplier collection
  • Assist in arrange and unloading of used TE pallets and LM empty IBC for Production
  • Use Ui5 perform receiving and issuing of material and finish goods.
  • Use SAP to perform the daily transactions regards to additives, packaging material and finish goods.
  • Capable of generating cycle count reports as per schedule and performing accurate reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Do trouble shooting and investigation use SAP reports.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics for daily job requirement.
  • Work with the in house contractors and delegate the tasks to the persons in charge with clear instructions.
  • Work with logistics and other department if need.
  • Be able to back up the duties within warehouse department.
  • Participate in company stock-takes.
  • May be assigned by management to handle the department's PR/PO processes, if applicable.
  • From time to time, attend to other duties or new project assigned by the management.
  • For day to day role and responsibility will be according to the operation needs and the areas assigned by supervisor
Candidate Profile
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Education: Min O level or ITE.
  • Expertise: Minimum 2 years 'hands-on' experience in warehousing/logistics.
  • Skills: Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel), planning knowledge and good communication skill.
  • Knowledge: Logistics operations, warehousing, HSE oriented.
Accountabilities
  • To meet customers' delivery date and target volumes.
  • To receive and issue of stock accurately.
  • To maintain accurate inventory records of items received and issued.
  • To dispatch orders correctly, verifies accuracy of information, record and submits to sales to facilitate invoicing.
  • To participate and contribute in regards to HSE compliance in the plant.
