Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Department: Warehouse / Logistics / Production Support

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and issuing materials and products. This role ensures that all goods are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely to support smooth production and delivery operations within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and goods against delivery orders and purchase orders.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
• Pick and issue raw materials, parts, or components to the production line based on job orders.
• Pack and prepare finished goods for delivery or shipment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Update warehouse and inventory systems with material movements and stock transactions.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely (if trained and authorized).
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse area following 5S standards.
• Report damaged or missing items and assist in corrective actions.
• Support cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency.

Requirements:

• Secondary education / NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP inventory modules is an advantage.
• Phys.addsibly-fit and able to handle moderate lifting.
• Forklift license (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Responsible, organized, and able to work well in a team.

Work Conditions:

• Based in warehouse or manufacturing plant environment.
• May require overtime depending on production and delivery schedules.
• Work 5.5 days.
• Only for Singapore/PR.
