A leading sovereign wealth fund in Singapore is seeking a Total Portfolio Risk Manager to enhance risk management frameworks and strengthen governance policies. The role focuses on liquidity and leverage oversight while conducting scenario analysis and stress tests. Ideal candidates should have a graduate degree, at least 7 years of experience in a quantitative role, and proficiency in R or Python. You will provide an independent and objective view of investment risk and performance drivers of the GIC Portfolio.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the independent assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of GIC’s market, credit, and operational risk profiles.
As a Total Portfolio Risk Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the risk management framework and strengthening risk governance policies. Specific areas of focus include: liquidity and leverage oversight across policies, frameworks, and risk management coverage of balance sheet management, securities lending, and trading activities.
