Portfolio Execution Group

Portfolio Execution Group encompasses multiple teams that perform a range of functional roles including trade execution, funding & liquidity management, securities financing, and applied quantitative research. This group comprises four sub‑teams – Global Trading Unit (GTU), Balance Sheet Management Group (BMG), Applied Research Unit (ARU), and Business Strategy & Management (BSM).

What will you do as an Associate, Investment Services Analyst (Contract)?

• Support the BMG Portfolio Managers in portfolio operations and implementation of their investment activities, e.g. trade lifecycle management, orders preparation, pre‑trade compliance and post‑trade checks.
• Manage securities borrowing and lending, e.g. inventory sourcing, lending restrictions, recalls, loans tagging, reconciliation and balances reporting.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for internal Portfolio and Inventory Management Systems.
• Provide inputs to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and maintain operational documentations.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Degree in Finance, Business, or related fields with a minimum of one year of relevant working experience in the financial services industry.
• Committed and motivated individual who has a strong sense of urgency, is meticulous, resourceful, and is able to thrive in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of securities finance and the investment process/operations, and proficient in end‑user computing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, Tableau) is preferred.
