Job summary

A leading shipping company in Singapore is looking for an individual to manage end-to-end operational aspects of assigned vessels post-fixture. The successful candidate will ensure smooth voyage execution in accordance with charter party terms and regulations. Role involves coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety and international regulations. Strong knowledge of shipping operations and communication in both English and Mandarin is essential. The position requires availability beyond regular hours, including during emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in vessel operations, preferably in chemical, oil, or product tanker shipping.
• Experience with chemical tanker operations is a plus.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage all post-fixture operational aspects of assigned vessels from voyage commencement to completion.
• Liaise with agents, terminals, port authorities, and surveyors to ensure smooth port operations.
• Ensure vessels operate in compliance with international maritime regulations.
• Maintain daily communication with Masters, charterers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in calculating freight differentials and demurrage.
• Monitor voyage-related expenses to ensure they remain within budget.
