Job description

We are seeking an experienced FX Product Specialist to lead our clients Private Banking FX Product and Advisory Desk. In this role, you will drive FX profitability, provide support to the Structured Products business, and shape the overall FX product strategy. You will act as a project manager for all FX-related initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination, issue resolution, and compliance. The focus will be on creating a robust, efficient, and controlled platform to meet client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Product Advisory

• Develop and deliver executable market strategies using insights from research, industry intelligence, and client feedback.
• Drive investment themes and provide strategic guidance to enhance portfolio performance.
• Offer tailored FX solutions to meet client needs and educate Relationship Managers on FX markets.
• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on FX within the Bank.

Sales

• Provide Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Consultants (ICs) with FX investment ideas and market insights
• Contribute to internal and external publications with FX-related content.
• Create impactful marketing materials and make timely recommendations to assist in client engagement.

Product Platform Management

• Ensure comprehensive access to the Banks full suite of FX products.
• Maintain strong relationships with counterparties and market players while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Monitor product performance, support MIS development, and ensure accurate product representation in the Banks systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance policies and provide seamless operational coverage.

Project and Process Management

• Lead and manage all FX-related projects and support Structured Product initiatives.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of FX products, ensuring systems capability, process efficiency, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Enhance platform readiness, focusing on robustness, control, and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Expertise in FX markets and a strong understanding of Private Banking operations.
• Proven ability to drive product strategy and manage complex projects.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of the full product lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading or driving projects.
• Exposure to systems and process engineering with a focus on efficiency.
• Knowledge of Structured Products is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese as the role is required to communicate in this language.
