Job summary

A leading logistics firm in Singapore is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis professional to provide commercial support and drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and have over 7 years of experience in FP&A within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain. Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel are essential, alongside the ability to collaborate across global operations. This role emphasizes driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Job description
Overall Purpose of the Role:

This role provides financial planning, analysis, and commercial support for the Toll Global Forwarding division at both regional and divisional levels. The position is critical in driving strategic decision-making, ensuring fiscal discipline, and delivering actionable insights that improve profitability and operational efficiency. It partners closely with business leaders at divisional and regional levels to drive financial performance with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support management reporting packs for regional and global leadership.
  • Support transformation initiatives and cost optimization projects.
  • Drive improvements in B/S reconciliation and accounting disciplines across all countries, standardize processes and share best practices.
  • Drive Transolve Global's post-merge integration in terms of financial reporting, planning and accounting disciplines.
  • Collaborate with regional and global FIN teams to drive adherence to internal controls, Toll Group policies, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to various strategic projects, such as monitoring and tracking turnaround plans for loss-making countries, tracking and reconciling FFG savings, implementing FX exposure mitigation measures, and participating in Product P&L design etc.
  • Participate in the forecasting and budgeting process.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organization with global operations.
