Job description

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for maintenance of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) and associated products.
• Maintain support of our existing offer of PLCs and associated products
• Understand product features based on industry standard specification
• Understand verification test plan and test setup
• Generate test cases, execute, and optimize for reuse
• Perform functional and reliability tests, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues
• Assess impact of a new feature and highlight to stakeholders
• Review information for our customer documentation.
• Close cooperation with our multi-site R&D team, System Test teams

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 1-2 years’ experience in design and development of verification tests in an R&D setup
• Understanding of fieldbus protocols such as EtherNet/IP, OPCUA, Serial Line, Modbus
• Aware of Ladder Logic or at least one of the IEC61131-3 programming languages (Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block etc.)
• Analytical skills to investigate customer issues with systematic troubleshooting skills
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in multi-cultural environment.
