Job Responsibilities
Commis Chef
- Prepare, bake, and present a wide variety of desserts and baked goods—including cakes, pastries, and confections—while adhering to company recipes and process standards
- Accurately measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients for daily production
- Perform cake icing and decoration with attention to detail and creativity
- Operate baking equipment, machinery, and tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete all orders accurately and on time
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef
R&D Chef
- Develop and create new cake menus, including conceptualizing flavors, designs, and product offerings.
- Conduct trials and testing for new product launches, refining recipes through experimentation and feedback.
- Ensure all new products are prepared accurately and consistently in accordance with established SOPs.
- Identify and resolve production issues, providing solutions to maintain product quality and workflow efficiency.
- Support seasonal or festive production demands when required.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet taste, texture, and presentation standards.
