Job summary

A leading recruiting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant for a 6-month renewable contract. The role involves month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and managing tax compliance. Candidates should have a degree in accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of IFRS. This position offers a competitive salary of up to S$5,600 monthly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with Singapore Corporate Tax and GST regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end closing activities promptly and accurately.
• Review completeness and accuracy of Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Conduct account reconciliations and review reports.
• Consolidate financial reports for submission to Corporate Office.
• Manage tax reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors during statutory audits.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards

Hands-on experience with SAP modules: Fixed Assets, AP, AR, and GL

Good time management skills

Meticulous with strong attention to detail

Ability to work well within a team

Education

Degree in Accounting or recognized professional accounting qualification

Contract Duration: 6-Month (Renewable with Potential for Conversion)

Location: East

Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary: UP $5,6K
