Job Description

In this role, you will represent and support the Medical Underwriting UAT Team. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing test plans, executing UAT cases, and signing off on UAT outputs related to the underwriting automation functionalities on various platforms such as Customer, Sales, Workflow, and Policy Administration systems. You will report to the functional team leads within the Medical Underwriting Team, ensuring timely UAT task delivery.

Understand and analyze business processes and requirements for system change requests with a clear understanding of cross‑platform testing needs.

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases, with clear UAT entry and exit criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with project leads and the UAT manager to resolve roadblocks, prioritize defect fixes, and ensure UAT is completed on time and with quality.
  • Review and prepare test plans, suggesting test‑flow optimizations where possible.
  • Document and sign off UAT results based on business requirements.
  • Follow through on defect resolutions with IT and the UAT test manager to ensure all defects are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and user guides for users, where applicable.
