Salary: $34.00 to $42.00 per hour (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Casual employment, Part time leading to full time, 16 to 30 hours per week, Starts as soon as possible, 2 vacancies.

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images.
  • Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, and make adjustments to equipment as required.
  • Record, store and process scanned images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment.
  • Prepare examination reports for physicians.
  • Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation.
Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification.
  • Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration.
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
